Crystal Classics

In two separate experiences, I've ordered products that have been backordered for months. Unfortunately, CC does not indicate prior to ordering whether an item is in-stock -- instead they send an email a couple days later saying "backordered." The backorder itself isn't a huge problem, though frustrating, but the communication is misleading at best, if not wholly untruthful. For both orders the information given was completely inaccurate -- for a 2008 order, I was told 7-10 days; and for my recent 2011 order, I was told 15-35 days. The 2008 order, which was placed on 10/10/08, was finally shipped on 12/02/2008. The 2011 order, placed on 10/08/2011, still has not been shipped as of 11/20, and when I called to inquire, I was told "two more weeks." When I told the CSR on the phone that I wanted to cancel my order because it was clear she actually had no idea when they could ship, she hung up on me. Lesson learned -- will NOT be back. ...read more

North Market

Spent time there with my wife, we walked around for an hour, everything way over priced. Very interesting setup, but way way over priced. Nice patio bars in the area though. Bar Louie is wonderful. Upon leaving, the $2 parking tab turned into $16 snce we didn't buy anything in the Market. I contacted 3 different members on the North Market asking why we got taken, and not one of them had the time to reply. \t\n\t\nDon't give them your business, many parking garages in the area and nice bars all around there. Don't let them ruin your evening like they did ours! ...read more
