I read the books and teamed up with another decent kid once we hit the lab portion of the HVAC course. We learned from each other and forced the instructor to explain things to us when we stumped ourselves. Most in my class left this school knowing nothing! Our company has hired about 5 new guys from here that know nothing! I'm glad I went in 2006 when it was only 8 grand. I didn't qualify for government grants like most. They lied about the loans and my parents repayment terms. Not a big deal. They work hard and have money so they were payed off once it came a month later. Not the 6 months after graduation AST promised. I'm now a field supervisor making a respectable 23.00 an hour. Being 25 with no college loans that goes far. But I didn't get here because of AST teaching, I wish this review would let me give zero stars. ...read more

I decided to attend this crappy so called Techical School after only to be called into the office 4 months later, saying they didn't want to accept my high school diploma. Now mind you they waited 4 months to tell me this, but I presented them with all my information the firsr day I came there. The dropout rate at this school i unbelievable and many of the students there weren't presented the math portions of the course because they didn't care to teach it.
