Geesh, I don't know what ""laurafillman"" (previous reviewer) is talking about. Oh, wait! She's trying to excuse her guilty conscience over bringing a car in for detailing that required a LOT of work -- which she received bountifully AND THEN SHE DIDN'T PAY FOR IT!! (1) Forgot her checkbook, could she pay later (sure) (2) promised cash (never forthcoming). The TEENSIE 1/4"" x 1/2"" PLASTIC Microsoft logo most certainly would NOT require a whole new console -- just some Elmer's glue....get real!!! And, shame on you ""laurafillman"" for not paying!! What a cheapskate you are!! \t\n\t\nI have taken my car to Pristine Detailing for years and I have ALWAYS received super service. Had my car in today, as a matter of fact (5/17/12) to have the winter's worth of accumulated grime and some W. Va. backroads driving washed away. My car was washed, buffed, and waxed --and, they nearly totally removed a grocery store shopping cart's horizontal scratch on the right side. My nearly 5-year old car has been so well detailed that it looks brand new -- why, it looks pristine! WITHOUT HARSH CHEMICALS. I took my husband's SUV to get detailed for his birthday and was excited to make everything look nice. When I got the SUV back, I counted eight items that they missed-- very obvious items just looking around the vehicle. Andy (owner) said that I must be overly critical, although from past experience, other 'detailers' have been very detail-oriented-- hence the name!. They damaged a Microsoft logo on the console and Andy told me he could pop it off and replace it, however the Ford dealership said I'd have to replace the entire console. The dealership told me that harsh chemicals had been used to clean the car, even though Andy said they didn't use any chemicals. And, Andy wanted paid in cash for everything. The location is a tiny garage in a larger warehouse area-- I should have driven away when I first saw it. Now, instead of a good memory for my husband's birthday, I feel like a jerk. ...read more
