Tight bands in wet hair will break the hair as it dries if there is no room for the hair to expand. Loosen up the coated bands, or dry hair completely before using. Consider using a leave in conditioner to protect hair from the danger of the u.v. rays of the sun. Alway saturate hair or add a leave-in conditioner before swimming or going in the sun. Saturated hair cannot absorb as much chemically treated water as dry hair will. Always rinse hair after swimming. Color treated hair should always be treated with protectants as well. Spray in color locking sprays.
