The optometrist was very nice and took time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. \t\n\t\nHowever, I will never go back because everything else about the place was awful. While choosing my frames, one of the employees (an older man) was quite aggressively trying to help me choose. I told him my budget, which he clearly ignored. Do they earn commission on frames? I ended up buying the more expensive frames (Michael Kors) and they broke in less than a month! I called and asked them how the guarantee worked, but apparently there is none. I needed replacement parts, and it took them nearly two weeks to find the price for me! It would cost me $120 for the parts and so alas, I super-glued them and that is that. What a waste! I will never go back. ...read more

I showed up for my appt 20+ mins beforehand so I would have adequate time to fill out paperwork. My appt time came and went and no attention was paid to me. Maybe they were short staffed for some reason but if they weren't then I can only assume that it is the standard of the practice to quadruple book appt times. I waited almost 45+ mins after my appt time before they even started my work up. Everything went smoothly until it was time to pick my contacts. I've had eye infections in the past and requested a certain brand. Since I switched to dailies a year ago I have not had one issue with my eyes. He adamately pushed me into trying contacts for an astigmatism that I DO NOT HAVE. I have seen multiple doctors throughout my life due to moving around and not once have I ever been told I have an astigmatism. I understand that most poeple have one to a certain degree but this has never ever been mentioned to me at any appt. Finally after I tried on the contacts and expressed how uncomfortable they were, he gave me my preferred brand. It was like pulling teeth to get them and I felt like my feelings were being ignored during the appt. I would be open to trying a different brand if it was for a valid reason but It is very obvious that he must be getting kickbacks from pushing the astigmatism brand. In addition to this he wrote a prescription for glasses that was the incorrect prescription. I wear -4.00 glasses and -4.25 contacts. He wrote the glasses for -3.75 and when I voiced concern at this he stated that it was correct. I'd recommend avoiding this place at all cost. I feel like I was man handled and ripped off. ...read more
