Dreams Resorts in Punta Cana
I recently returned from a working trip doing Site inspections on the 3 Dreams resorts in Punta Cana. I traveled with 41 agents from 4 gateway cities..........we stayed one night at Dreams Punta Cana resort and Spa and two nights at Dreams La Ramona. We also spent a day at Dreams Palm Beach. I absolutely loved the product line and as Americans traveling to the Dominican Republic, staying at a Dreams property enables you to be familiar with certain things in the food line......example: beer, Heines Ketchup etc. Dreams Palm Beach is the smallest of the 3 and is located within 20 minutes of the airport. Newly renovated and is very close to the beach............great choice.......clients just got back that I had sent and they raved about the resort. Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa is large........about an hour plus ride from the airport.........built more like a bowling alley...........with the lobby the furthest from the beach.....sharp............the beach is not as nice as it is in Palm Beach......but beautiful compared to other destinations. Dreams La Ramona is south and about a two hour ride if there is traffic, to get to the resort from the airport. A large resort as well, but built along the ocean........beautiful beach..........great resort.......movies on the beach at night...........at all three.......... Any of the three resorts would be a great choice..............Apple Vacations are running wonderful deals right now for these products............if you want your dream to come true with a dream vacation, call me and I can arrange a Dream vacation at one of the above Dreams resorts............how's that for a play on words? ...read more

Riu Palace Punta Cana
I personally stayed at the Riu Palace Punta Cana last September and found it to be my favorite hotel in the area. This was my 5th time to Punta Cana and one of those stays was what we call an escourted FAM with agents only.........our main purpose is to do site inspections on properties for review. I'm not talking about the Riu Palace Macau........but the Punta Cana. Staying here enables you to use the facilities of all 5 Riu properties in the complex, but, the luxury is beyound imagination and affordable compared to other prices for the higher rated hotels. Upgrading to a jacuzzi suite is well worth the extra money..........our room was more like a condo living area as opposed to an average suite. Very romantic.............it actually makes you feel like you are at a Palace! If you have any questions on the specifics, feel free to use my experience as a guide.
