John the owner is a great guy. I only know him in passing but from what I've heard and seen he is the man. He will donate and help any reasonable charity or young business person. He is the main chef and he did and can cook with the best of chefs seen on tv. He is also fair on his pricing You get a great meal. His place is a retro collection on all the walls and ceiling from cars to telephone booths to signed ball shirts. He must have 15 flat screen tv's not only surrounding the bar but thru out the restaurant and the staff are friendly and the customers will always strike up a conversation with you.
