I've been to this location twice and both times I was not pleased what so ever.\n\nFirst time I went with two co-workers and the service wasn't great and the food wasn't good at all. I had ropa vieja and it was not even close to what I expected. The service lacked a lot which shocked us because the place wasn't even that busy. When we finally received our coffee after waiting about 10-15 minutes - it's very cold. Do not understand why it took so long if when we received it it was cold! Since it was only a week after their grand opening, my coworker and I decided to give them a second chance.\n\nWe each purchased a groupon and hoped that Don Coqui would be a lot better this time around. Once again we were disappointed but this time worse than before. As soon as we got there we sat for about 10 minutes, when we noticed that we were not given a menu. I went with about 10 family members, the restaurant is white, big and clean and the waiters were nice and helpful. They have good selection and the food was good but not great and serve big portions.We ordered about 50 mixed drinks but the first 7 mojitos were horrible and missing Rum tasted like virgen mojitos, I am an older spanish guy and had hundreds of mojitos all over and my family members agreed with me and we sent them all back to put the right amount of Rum that we paid for.I don't know if the owner or the management asked the bartenders to cheat with the drinks to make more money or the bartenders are playing smart assuming nobody will notice or complaint. I complained to the manager and he said will look into that problem.We spent $900 which was like 60% on drinks and we just want what we paid for.There is room for improvements and hope they listen to clients if they want to be in business long time and get return clients which they can recommend friends and family o ...read more

"On Saturday evening we called your store because we needed a flower arrangement for Sunday. We knew we could pick it up at the Yonkers office, since the White Plains store is closed on Sunday. I am so sorry I cannot remember who I spoke with, but I described what I wanted and what I didn't want. The staff person was the model customer service person. She walked me through several pieces online, and she obviously took my request seriously. I wanted an altar piece, but not something that looked like a funeral piece even though it was in memory of someone very dear to us. We wanted something colorful, alive, vibrant and that would make a statement when people saw it. Needless to say when my husband picked up the piece it was 'outstanding - a work of art, a vibrant colorful collection of beauty. Thanks, thanks thanks.
