Avatar, now with the distinction of being the highest grossing film of all time, has been playing to sold out shows nearly every day for two months, an unprecedented phenomenon. But, like all good things, the opportunity to see Avatar on the largest screen in the area, will soon come to an end. IMAX WILL HOST PAJAMA PARTIES AND A FIRST-EVER BEACH BASH IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH ROCKLAND/ORANGE/BERGEN, Jan. 23– The IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center is well known for hosting fun family events and this winter there will be plenty to enjoy at IMAX.   On February 13th families can enjoy the opening of Under the Sea 3D with a family pajama party. Attendees will enjoy a pre-show Lego building event and special bedtime snack courtesy of Coldstone Creamery along with other surprises. Additional details will be posted to the IMAX website. To participate fully, attendees are encouraged to wear their pajamas and fuzzy slippers. In the past, IMAX opening night pajama parties have sold out quickly thanks to fun free activities including face painting and dancing in the theatre aisles.
