FYI- Re: Kids Stuff in Valley Stream. I used to shop and sell there. The place is very packed. I was never thrilled with the amount of money they gave me for my items... many designer labels, but I was ok with it. But this time, today They were so mean. We will NEVER shop or sell at this store again! My mother was just there and they were incredibly RUDE to her, and asked her to leave and come back. They wanted her to clean, iron, and fold every piece of clothing for them. Even though every piece was clean and on hangers.They also give you close to nothing for the items you are selling anyway. Don't even waste your gas money to go there- donate to your local church, thrift shop, or find another consignment shop. It is not worth your time, to get spoken to in a rude manner by the owners, I will be telling everyone I know not to go there to shop or sell. My mother left in tears. ...read more

I visited the store recently because I needed a pattern and I try to support local merchants. As soon as I entered the store the employee yelled if she could help me from the rear of the store. I felt like I had a sign on saying BEWARE! She had a a very nasty attitude with me . I am not going to be disrespected when I spend my money.
