Heartstone replaced the windows in my home and did a great job, fast and efficient, competitive price and very nice people. When one of the windows failed and leaked, they promptly came and replaced it, but it did not fit and would not close, allowing outside air to freely flow into the house. They left it that way. Mr. Nelson informed me a sales rep would contact me to solve the problem and it never happened. Multiple letters and calls were never returned from that point, I had to tape the window shut as winter came on, but it froze the room out and we couldn't use it. I contacted the manufacturer and that took 2 months before a new window was delivered for me to pick up and install myself from Alside in Syracuse, (in mid January of 2011.) It was a huge hassle and as far as I'm concerned, the company does not honor its warranty. Be very wary using this company. did not finish job. work that was done was done poorly and in the cheapest way possible. I did not want to pay him, but he was threatening and so for my safety , I did reluctantly pay for the whole job. He now says he will finish the job when I call him, but i don't believe him ...read more
