About Tupper Lake, NY
The village of Tupper Lake is located in Franklin County, New York, in the Malone metro area and is was once an industrial center, with lumber, paper and woodworking mills but today is a resort area. A major attraction is the WILD Center - Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, a natural history museum featuring live animals, exhibits and a theater. Each year in July, the Woodsmen's Field Days is celebrated here. One of the best places to visit when you are in Tupper Lake is the Adirondack Public Observatory, where you can view the night sky with various telescopes.
