I left my Toyota Corolla for inspection at this Citgo and got called shortly after. The guy who always works there listed wiper blades, brakes, oil change, and inspection and quoted $400+ "for all that". I guess he expected me to OK it right away given that the list sounded long and ambiguous. However, I asked details about the breaks and it turned out they just needed to replace the front break pads. After this question the quoted price went down to $300+. Since this was still higher than average for the list I asked him to itemize. Itemized list was already close to $200 even though the guy still quoted pretty high albeit possible prices. After I noted that it is much less than the initial quote I was told to pick up the car and the guy hung up on me. ...read more
