xcellent , fast, responsive, reasonably priced......all things you want in a tax service. I was referred to GGI by a co-worker; I only try to use services recommended by people I trust. So I made an appointment (they have great hours). I arrived for my 11am appointment at 11:05am, was greeted, asked to complete a customer intake form and seen right away. Add a 6th star for that. Ecuador: Latin America's Next Opportunity Hub
Visiting clients has taken us to several South American countries. As far as real estate opportunities go, few countries are outpacing Ecuador in value and opportunity. There are three cities in Ecuador I've visited extensively, Guayaquil, Quito, and Cuenca. Guayaquil is the financial hub of the country, while Quito is the political center. Cuenca is much smaller but growing town and is a focus of new capital into Ecuador. Close enough to both Guayaquil and Quito, Cuenca is situated as the perfect base for residential and commercial real estate investments. A growing number of U.S. expats are making Cuenca their new home and not waiting around for retirement to make the change. The dollar is the local currency, making transactions safe from the turmoil currently roiling some South American countries. With strong legal protections for property owners, it is a safe environment for investment and retirement. •The buying power of the dollar in Ecuador is three to four times what it is in New York• You'll need a goodtax preparation servicein order to understand the ins and outs of opening a business in another country. The country is ripe with manufacturing opportunities as well. The current government of Rafael Correa is determined to encourage local production over imports (very punitive import tariffs), thus opening the door to investors willing to make a commitment to growth in this country of nearly 16 million residents. New to Cuenca is their monorail which is nearly complete and will revitalize the local economy in an amazing way.
