Behavior Expectations: We have high expectations for the students in our room.  We expect the students to achieve academically to their fullest potential.  We expect students to contribute in a positive manner to our classroom.  The following is a list of rules for the room. 1.     Show respect 2.    Make good decisions 3.    Solve problems As well as a willingness to learn Homework: Your child will have homework each session.  It will reflect the skills that we are covering.  Homework is due on day of the next class.  If the homework appears to be too difficult or too easy for your child, feel free to modify it.  We do not punish children who don’t return their homework, but we often reward those who do.  There will be a progress report for homework. Access to homework will be the provided with a homework access key that will be provided with the confirmation email after registration. Things You Can Do At Home To Help Your Child At School: *        Read to your child and allow them to read to you. *        Ask your child about school and take an interest in what they are learning. *        Make sure they get enough sleep. *        Set limits on the amount of television they watch. *        Make sure they have enough to eat. Tuition, discounts and fees: . The tuition is $24 for one hour class (60 minutes), $36 for 90-minute class, and $45 for two-hour class (120 minutes). SAT class costs $50 for two-hour class. You may choose to pay for the entire semester (12-15 weeks in Fall 2012) or you may divide it into two installments. Late fee is $20. Family discount is 10% for the second sibling. 10% for more than 3 subjects. School Supplies: Each child will need to buy textbooks (mostly for Mathematics and English). School provides books directly from distributors at a very good discounted price. Newsletter: We want to make sure you are informed of upcoming events and what your child is learning in school.  A monthly newsletter will come home each Monday.  It will contain schedules and information pertinent to the coming month.  You will receive information about your child’s progress each month. Communication Education is a partnership between home and school. We value parent involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with us.
