25 September 2009 We received an order to transport 2 1974 identical Alfa Romeos from Englewood, NJ to Vancouver, BC. Shipping vehicles to canada can be quite a dilemma if the vehicles are not registered at all and inoperable with no titles on hand. In order to ship these cars to their destination realistically we offered the customer to ship the cars to Blaine WA right by the United States / Canada Border. With no more issues the customer received his long awaited Alfa Romeos within 6 days. Shipping inoperable vehicles may become a pain when shipping on a car hauler compared to a tow truck, due to the fact that most car haulers don't have winches installed because of the hydraulics. Consider that tow trucks do local transport only and car haulers do coast to coast , there werent much options to go with. The only option available was to have a truck with 2 drivers pickup the cars by rolling them on the bottom level as they are considerable light vehicles. All went well and our customer is happy.
