For years and convenience went there. From day one, owner Anthony rushed me and shuffled me around with other clients. This is because he only wants to work 4 days and spend as little time as possible with you. His skills are basic and outdated for his years of experience. He panicked when I needed an updo and was relieved that I went to a Cactus Salon. I do my hair every 3 weeks religiously and he overcharges. He's made nice money off me. I bit the bullet for location. Although nothing happened, he suddenly, without warning dropped me. Oh yeah, I tip well also. He was rude and nasty about it and couldn't give me a reason. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL. I am a little blown away, but, not completely surprised. It's a hole-in-the-wall place. Which is ok if the talent is there. It's NOT. Notice the LACK of many reviews? Jean is a short stout appearing woman who works at lemon tree she has black hair and has been a hair stylist for many years (over 20 at least) . I was in the salon recently because I had grown my hair very long and desired to donate my hair to locks of love. I was a walk-in and whenever I go their I never see anyone specific. So Jean was the one who was cutting my hair...I was apprehensive when I found out it was going to be her. I have observed her interaction with clientele in the past and it had left a bad taste in my mouth. I remember a time I was waiting in the front of the salon and as soon as an elderly client left her chair she rolled her eyes and exclaimed "I need three Advil to get through this day every time I work here on weekends" on top that when she was cutting my ponytail so I could donate she cut below the rubber band of the ponytail rather than above it so it would stay in tact. The hair was ber in even and scraggly in the ponytail which made it more difficult to send/dry. I thought it was a pretty simple request. Recently I came into TCarlton to have a bad haircut I received at another local salon fixed. Casey was recommended by a close friend and I am so happy she did.
