1. Lawn a. Roger Hoek, you “guaranteed” that the grass would grow the second time I paid for seeding. It did not. The back of the front lawn by the pool looks like a mini-grand canyon and the entire left side of the back lawn is practically bare. Both areas are filled with pebbles and rocks, which is probably why the grass isn't growing. You said you would place enough topsoil so that grass would grow. You apparently placed so little soil that it all washed away. b. There are huge truck tire tread gouges in areas of the lawn where they were supposed to be smoothed out. I don’t care about the forested area, but these were not supposed to be left like that on the lawn. c. The front edge (roadside) of the lawn which was covered with grass all the way to the edge is bare and muddy where your trucks were. d. In front of the pool deck ramp, the lawn has large bare patches. 2. Drainage a. Not working as you said it would. There is an approximately 20-30 sq ft area of mud on the back lawn which was supposed to be fixed by the drainage job you did. It is now breeding so many mosquitoes that we cannot venture to the pond. 3. Gutters a. Ones over front door leaked all winter long and continue to leak. You said if they continued to leak you would replace them because they were guaranteed for a year. I don’t care if you replace them or fix what is leaking on the current ones, but gutters are not supposed to leak. b. Gutter leaf shields were not secured properly and several fell off. They are in the storage room. 4. Storage Room a. You built the doors in three layers. Whatever layer is in the middle swelled up so much during the winter that: i. The door separated. ii. I could not open the doors to get pellets. 5. Pool Deck a. Spot where you were supposed to fix warping plank is worse than it was before your "repair" which consisted of driving a huge screw into the plank and all that did was split the wood. The deck gate is warping as well. You used floor planks for the top finishing of the deck fence and it is now my understanding that you were not supposed to do that. ...read more
