Hudson House is a treat every time you visit. The food is amazing (especially the sticky toffee pudding and the cheese course), the staff is wonderful and the ambiance is elegant and cozy. It is our favorite place to go for a special night out. Inside it feels very much like a french brasserie with banquettes around the perimeter and murals of the Tappan Zee bridge on the walls. Three of us dined here the night before Thanksgiving. It was our first time to this restaurant . After a warm welcome,we were seated and served in the main room- not too noisy, very lively and really pretty. The old place is renovated- tin ceilings, beautiful art work. The owner came over several times and the server was elpful and friendly. We split appetizers that were all delicious.The entrees were also delicious and the desserts were the best I have ever had.
