I told the bus driver I was taking a round trip ride from Norwich to the Oxford Veteran's Home. The trip there was fine -about tens minutes in duration. However, the trip back took 2 1/2 hours! The driver knew I was returning to Norwich but did not explain that I would be returning via a 2 hour loop through his route, then back to the Oxford Vet's Home, then 1/2 hour more back to Norwich. I could have spent the two hours visiting, then taken the later bus, rather than ride a 2 hour loop. ...read more
