I was a loyal customer for years bringing in my car for minor repairs and gas . One day my car broke down on the highway so I had my car tolled to this gas station. The manager Jose called me at home and gave me an estimate of over 1000 dollars and told me the mechanic their Mota will work on it right away. I called my brother-in law mechanic (Marin) and had my car tolled to his mechanic shop.He concluded the mechanic at Getty remove valved cover reinstalled the pulley in reverse and throwing the engine out of timing and making the engine inoperable to drive ! Total cost at came out to 338 dollars as oppose to the 1000 estimate.These mechanic at Getty station have been doing this for years and it is time that their criminal behavior is finally exposed to the community !
