Last year when my son was 12-20 months old we loved the program. The soft carpeting was perfect for a toddler and he loved playing with other children. It was, however, very stressful because we committed to a specific class time and over that period my son went from 3 to 1 nap a day. I ended up missing classes when his naps didn't work out and when he was sick (which happened more frequently with being around more kids and being at an age where everything still went in his mouth). This year we very carefully tried to pick a nap-proof time that we expected to last the whole year. But when the year started he ended up being a preschooler in a classroom of toddlers. He couldn't hug, play with toys together, or cross the room without bumping a classmate over and having them cry. After only 2 months we pulled him out of class. We were offered the opportunity to move to a different time with older kids, but the times do not work for us. I was surprised to discover that there is a no refund policy. It is on the registration form, but I hadn't noticed it. We are stuck paying for 6 months of unused and unwanted class time. It's a great program in general, but an 8 month commitment for 1-2 year olds is a huge gamble. I can see the appeal of registering for classes in 3 month segments now. ...read more
