Marvin's Bail Bonds on 77A Baxter Street in Manhattan was the greatest friend I needed when my son got arrested a couple of days ago. At first I called many bail bonds companies, and the attitude I received were very rude. Some bondsman even had me come down to their office and change the story and the amount they quoted me. They figured since I was there, I would have not choice but to accept their offer. I am home health aid, and I can't afford much, and I all I have is my son. When I was about to give up, I called Marvin. His staff are so polite, and never once did they make a decision for me. They understood my situation, and because I couldn't make to their Manhattan office, they told me to go their Bronx office near my house on 910 Sheridan Avenue. They gave me the best price, and worked with me with a payment plan. After I started the case at 11:45 PM at night, Marvin called me personally to let me know when my son was coming out. They are truly the best friend to have when you're in trouble, especially when its your only son. Thank you Marvin! ...read more

We came to the bail bond office on 81 Baxter Street in Manhattan during a very difficult time last year for my younger brother. My brother was out of control and was arrested for hanging with bad people and for drugs. While my brother was in jail he made promises to us in order to get him out, and we made the promises to the bail bondsman in order to get him out of jail. The bondsman and his staff got my brother out of jail fast and were professional. Highly reccomend! ...read more

Securing Against Data Breach And Fighting Fraud With Semlex

Security is one of the rising concerns of the modern age. The current trend of technology is the "internet of things" wherein data, electronics, and even facilities are already connected to the internet. This trend opens large possibilities in technology and had proven its convenience. But with this development, the unified connection became vulnerable. Identity theft, forgery, and unauthorized access to confidential information are easier done due to the connectivity of information. Government and private institutions need to focus, not only on physical security but also in virtual security.   Virtual Security Through Biometric Technology With the rising need for virtual security, the solution presented itself through biometric technology. The measurement of each individual is very unique especially in the minute details like fingerprint and iris pattern. Because of the person-specific details that can be gathered from biometrics, technology which can record, save, and authenticate it has been developed. Biometrics is the current epitome of both physical and virtual security. With biometric security, locations and information can only be accessed by individuals who can match the right prints and scans. Overcoming this security feature through falsification is next to impossible. The potential of enabling biometric security in important documents and transactions is immense. Private companies are able to procure the cutting edge technology which can support the demand of biometrics. One of the leading companies in the field of biometrics isSemlex. Established in 1992, the company had assisted African and Latin governments in developing their own centralized biometric security. It had later extended its services to countries in Europe. Some of the countries that have partnered with the company are Chad, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, Ireland, and Georgia. Currently, the company is continuously developing innovative technology to make it more readily available to the public.        ...read more
