Does anyone get their car detailed from these guys. I had an appt. I waited for 6 weeks. A NO SHOW. I had to have groupon call them before they even called me back to schedule an appt. Heard they are having financial difficulties because of their groupon, livingsocial returns. The owner is certainly unprofessional. They should start honoring their appts. I'm going to the better business bureau next. They are a scam. ...read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Tried several times to schedule an appt. Finally groupon got them to call me back. They were so over booked because of groupon and livingsocial, I had to wait 6 weeks. Called the day before to confirm reservation, no call back. Day of appt, NO SHOW and no call. Left several messages, they just don't seem to care. Terrible way to run a business. Would never attempt to use them. They should honor their obligations. ...read more

Had an appointment to have my car detailed on 5/21/12. Someone called that morning to cancel because of rain. No problem there. The person said they would call the next day to reschedule. Not sure why they could not reschedule while I was on the phone, but OK. Call never came. A week later I called them and got answering machine. Left message. No call back. After 2 e-mails and 3 left messages I gave up as no one ever responded. I suspect they may have gone out of business. If not, BE CAREFUL, VERY UNRELIABLE !!!! ...read more

Tip of the Week: Rim Detailing

If you’re a car buff or an enthusiast, you know what I mean when I say “a car doesn’t lookdetailedif the rims and tires aren’t sparkling” I know some of you may be thinking “Dah”, of course it doesn’t. But, there’s more to it, and any ole cleaner is just not good enough.  So before you go to your local auto supply store and purchase rim cleaner, there’s something you need to know to clean and protect those wheels. Never spray chemicals on rims while hot.  Cool them down with water first.  Spraying chemicals on hot rims may cause chemical staining or etching; damaging the rim. Use a non-acidic rim cleaner: A non-acidic rim cleaner leaves little to no soap residue, which in turn, helps the shine. Clean your black walls or tire face with a wire brush.  Using a wire brush will effectively remove dirt and grime from the tire, allowing you to achieve a glosser and longer lasting shine. Note: The wire brush should only be used to clean your tires.  Using on rim will only cause damage. Use rim polish. Using rim polish will protect them by reducing brake dust build-up.  The polish also helps keep the shine. Use a water based tire shine. Water based tire shine keeps dirt from sticking to your tires and rims.  Solvent based tire shine is sticky which allows dirt to build up much quicker. There you have it.  Key things to know to help protect your rims from damage while keeping them shining and protecting them. Good luck, Happy Detailing. ...read more

Carnauba Wax vs. Paint Sealant

The top coat.  Today’s market offers an array of auto detailing products.  Knowing the differences between wax products and paint sealants will help you make a more informed decision when shopping for car finishing products. Carnauba Wax.  Produced by the Brazilian palm tree (Tree of Life), provides a top coat of protection for its leaves; shielding them from the sweltering sun.  When applied to your car’s exterior, Carnauba Wax delivers agreat shine and the “wet look” finish while offering professional grade top coat protection.  Carnauba Wax can last up to one and a half months depending on the amount of times you wash your car and the climate in which you’re car is housed.  The more coats you apply, the deeper the shine.  Carnauba Wax can be purchased in liquid or paste form. Paint Sealantsare made from polymers, which are composed of tens of thousands of synthetic particles that are linked together. The linked together particles acts like a shield on your car protecting it from UV sunlight rays and other environmental elements - which over time can dull your cars finish if left untreated.  Paint Sealants gives a glossy shine, but not as deep or rich as with Carnauba Wax, but it does last ten times longer. Paint Sealants are perfect for people who don’t have the time to apply wax to their cars finish every one to two months, but wants to keep their cars nicely protected with a good shine. Whichever one you choose, remember it’s extremely important to protect your cars finish to ensure it looks newer longer.
