Went to purchase my first pair of jazz shoes for my daughter, who is a tom-boy. I asked for a pair of split sole jazz shoes. I get to class and the teacher looked at me like I had three heads! So I noticed that my daughter was the only one whos shoes looked a bit different, so I asked, Are these shoes OK? and she shook her head NO. So I thought OK maybe these arent split sole jazz shoes but they must be some sort of shoe that can be used for jazz. So my next question was, Can these be used for jazz? NO, these are ballet shoes! I went there because I had no idea about dance shoes, I expected to be given what I asked for. So I called them, one woman told me to bring them back and she would refund my money and give me jazz shoes. Then the saleslady called and said she would not refund my 30$ because I asked for ballet shoes! I also purchased jazz pants!
