We followed the stipulation in our contract which stated to contact Pets Alive if the animal was found to be ill. We followed their direction on how to proceed from there. Then 3 days later we were told that we would never see our dog again. Had we been told that up front, we never would have released him to them.This shelter takes on more than it can handle. There are lots of volunteers and they can’t keep track of all the dogs. Therefore they are selling sick dogs to good people. I would not recommend adopting from this shelter.
