Some how he suckers foreign investors into managing their properties. He charges them a 10% commission on rent collected and runs their property into the ground. When the owner gets desperate he places the property on the market and charges another 10% commission. He is a pretty clever guy, he makes money on both ends and the investor gets nothing. I have several investment properties with this company and they are well taken care of. I have clean nice paying tenants in all 5 of my properties. I was with another agency who had poorly managed the 3 that I had with them. I received no rents for over a year and had two vacant properties. Since moving my business to Royal Viking Realty, I've purchase 2 more investment properties. Within a month after leaving the other agency my places were completely occupied with wonderful tenants. I know the property you are talking about and the owners have stopped sending money out to fix anything . The workmen don't want to go over to the property because they don't get paid for the work they've done. I heard this directly from the owners themselves and the workmen. So, I don't believe Royal Viking Realty should be blamed for what's happened to this property. . I wouldn't trust my properties with anyone but Royal Viking Realty. ...read more

I am also a neighbor of this property. Despite my frequent calls to Viking Realty describing the situation, it seems to be getting worse and I have never seen anyone there doing any work to fix any of the numerous issues. There are many health and safety concerns associated with the condition of this 2 family home. It makes me wonder what their other properties look like and why someone would pay a realtor to manage an "investment property" when it is neglected in such a way and allowed to be a blight and an eye sore to this neighborhood. ...read more
