How to Achieve Success
The good news is that there is no secret formula or magical key to success. Anybody can learn how to achieve success by developing such personal qualities as persistence, strength, high moral values and hard work. Persistence or tenacity could be the most important ingredient in success. Most successful women achieve their goals not because they are the smartest or the most capable but because they simply did not giving up. In many cases, all that is required for success is to stay in the game. Quite a few women do not develop this quality - instead they get discouraged and loose their motivation. This occurs because these women do not have any successful role models. It is very easy to get discouraged and frustrated when you go it alone. Therefore one of the best ways to learn how to achieve success is to spend time around successful women. Simply seeing and talking to others who have achieved their goals and overcome obstacles can motivate you to stay in the game. Networking for Success Organizations like the National Association of Professional Women, community groups, business groups and alumni associations are a great place to meet other successful women. They are also a good refuge from a male dominated business environment. Networking is another key to success in addition to motivation, successful people need contacts. Successful women need a support network and sometimes a person to talk to. Networking can provide that as well as career advice and goal setting. Anybody can be successful as long as they do not give up. The most successful women are usually the most tenacious and those with the most faith. Contact with other successful women can give you that faith and strength of character. Learning how to achieve success is easy as long as you do not give up. The more friends you m ...read more

The Recipe for Success
The recipe for success in business is a very one: networking. People who get out and network and make contacts succeed. Those who hide in their cubicles do not. Networking is vital for success and critical for women. You must network because it is the only way to learn about the opportunities and be in a position to take advantage of them. Studies indicate that most professionals find their jobs through networking. Networking can help you do many things including find jobs, recruit new team members, establish new business relationships, find new customers and locate new strategic partners. If you do not network you will not succeed because you will not be able to locate any new business. One of the best ways to network is to participate in as many business and professional organizations as you can. Groups like the National Association of Professional Women give you a chance to network. That means to meet other professionals and develop relationships with them. Networking with women can be even more beneficial, because women like to network and develop relationships. Networking with professionals in your industry or field enables you to keep up on trends and learn what is going on. No successful professional relies solely on the media for information. The most successful professionals develop a network of contacts that provides them with the information that they need. The only way to stay abreast of trends and developments in the field, is to be in constant contact with others in the field. The more contacts you have the better informed you will be. As business becomes larger and more complex, networking becomes more important because it is the only way to stay informed. We live in an information age in which knowledge is power, networking is the key to getting and keeping that power. Networking truly is the recipe for success. The more adept you get at it the more successful you will be. To network with more successful women and learn their stories, visit its website National Association of Professional Women . ...read more

What Most Successful Women Have in Common
Successful women all have a few traits that are common in their genetic make-up. These are the factors that helped build them into the powerhouses that they are. This article serves to examine these characteristics. Successful women exude an indefinable aura that we can’t put our finger into. Successful women examples are Madame Curie and Madonna who are worlds apart from each other. Martha Stewart and Lady Gaga are as different as night and day but are both successful women. The list is long and so are their individual characteristics. But all these women have something in common. They are all successful in their own field. In a world where consumerism reigns supreme and money is what makes the world go round, everyone knows that to be successful, you have to be rich in today’s parlance. And to be doubly successful, you have to be not only rich, but also famous. Remember being anonymously rich is one thing, but being rich and famous is another. We are talking about the really lucky ones who are not only rich, but are equally famous as well. Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Mrs. Debbie Fields, the Olsen twins, etc. all are so different from one another, but they are bound by the same characteristics; the tangible and undefinables that have made them into what they are. Women who tower head and shoulders from the rest of mankind, male and female alike. And what are these common denominators that that they each have? Let us have a look: 1. The air of strength. And it shows in their personality. All exude strength of character and an independent spirit. An aura of invincibility which seems to say; nothing can hurt me. They don’t possess that look of vulnerability which Marilyn Monroe and the rest of her kind had, half-a century ago. 2. Confidence. They exude confidence, in every move and breath they take. They have none of that tentative, meek and mild air that many thought was fashionable many moons ago. They are sure of themselves, and dead sure of what they want. Self-assurance is written all over them. They all have the look of a winner. 3. Look of power and ruthlessness. There is power, if not wisdom in the way they look and carry themselves. And a certain amount of ruthlessness, too. This goes with the trade. They have gone through their individual baptism of fire, have felt the whiplash of misfortune and degradation at some point in their life. 4. Look of toughness and dominance. Most of these personalities appear tough and hard as nails, because that is how they survived and reached the top of the heap.
