I'm a GNC gold card member, and I really don't care too much about prices. Generally, I like the GNC's in Manhattan, the people tend to know a lot and they don't try to sell me random stuff that makes no sense. I also tend to buy a lot of their stuff online, so I'm actually a big fan of GNC. the Flushing branch, however, is different. They try me to get me to buy the most expensive stuff possible and they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Some of their employees are pretty good (usually the people who are under 30) and they know the difference between, for example, branch-chain amino acids and creatine. But trying to get one of the owners/managers to help you is impossible. If you want a pre-work out supplement they try and push you on to a mass-gainer. It's absolutely ridiculous. This is by far the worst GNC I've visited. Unfortunately, it's the one on the way when I go visit my parents, so I still occassionally go in there.
