Parent Empowerment Program (PEP)

Parent Empowerment Program: Building Stronger Families   The Parent Empowerment Program (P.E.P.) is designed to build stronger families. Moms and dads can gain valuable skills and resources to help with the challenges of parenting while earning things needed for their babies.   Parents may attend up to 5 sessions per year to earn the items needed most. They can earn one item (e.g. stroller, bag of clothing, crib) on their list per session. Moms and dads are welcome to join us for additional classes, however, additional material assistance will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Workshop topics are listed on our application.   You may select up to 5 items you would like to earn by actively participating in the program. All items are donated and may be either new or gently used and clean. What we have in stock may vary from time to time. If we do not have the requested item, a voucher may be issued, and we will call you when we get that item. All items must be picked up at BPCC. No items will be delivered to your home or the hospital.   Interested? Contact Boro Pregnancy Counseling Center for an application. After we receive it, we will contact you to discuss the schedule of classes and register you for your first session.   ...read more
