Recent barn rental for a wedding was a disaster. Only agreement in writing was done by us- but agreed to by owner multiple times-until the evening before the event, and everything changed. We paid in advance-and in cash. He waited until we decorated and then tried to hold his own party there- encouraged people to go to the barn even though they walked on decorated tables, ruined decorations and took our party supplies. He was on a drunk 2 days running- was horrible to our help and our guests- tore down decorations, threw things,, took food out of the guests hands and threw it away. He completely ruined our wedding.Family and Friends were disgusted and horrified. He lied to the band and promised their equipment would be safe and that the building would only be accessed by us, and then let it be a free for all the night before the event.
