I work near here and will now travel out of my way not to return. I have never once been greeted with a smile, a thank you, or anything even remotely resembling gratitude for my patronage at this store. Everyone there is SO MISERABLE. They will wait on their fellow workers before you, practically run you over with merchandise they are stocking as if you are in their way, and the carry out deli staff acts as if you are harassing them to get food.I even overheard several stock boys on their break in the cafe area openly swearing at each other in their uniforms! We love shopping at your store, especially the meat, fish, bakery, and produce departments. I have a question though. I live out of town and like to call ahead to have a rack of strip steaks cut, sometimes up to four racks but have been told you don't take phone orders. I come in person to order and am told I should call ahead. I called and asked to speak to your general manager to ask your policies and she refused to let me talk to the manager. Eventually, I spoke to the meat manager who said I was lying and that these situations are not happening. Why would I lie? I love your products and want to shop there.This has happenened at least four times and I am getting frustrated. I have been turned away and from your store, unable to make a purchase and just can't understand this concept. i have never had a problem in this store.i have been going there for nearly 20 yrs. i love the variety and the home made taste of their products in the bakery.the deli is my favorite because i can walk up and get freshly sliced meat the way i like it.and their meat counter is just as pleasant as can be.never have to wait long at the check out either.it is nice to have a store equipted with enough cashiers to get you out. ...read more
