These guys are crooks. They charged me $190 to replace my broken rear end links on my 2007 honda civic. They're also located on a one way side street that's also hard to find. There's barely any parking at all near them, and when you come around the corner there 20 cars beeping at you to move. The street is also too narrow to double park, so you're forced to go around the block and try again. I'll go some here else next time I need work one on my car. ...read more

What a bunch of lying, cheating, dishonest scumbags! My husband and I want to lease a Honda Civic. We each called, separately, for a quote over the phone. My husband spoke to Amira; I spoke with Myra. We both made it very clear that we want the final price over the phone, since my husband would have to take off from work to go down to the dealership and he wouldn't have time to haggle when he gets there. Both salespeople informed us that we can have the Civic for $125 a month with zero down and around $1400 in closing fees and NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES (we asked several times). My husband drove down there and was handed a document that listed charges totaling about $1000 more than the price quoted! When my husband protested, he was told that they won't honor the original price. Not only did these people waste several hours of my husband's precious time, but they also cost us a great deal on another vehicle. ...read more

Winter is here !

Driving in the snow with bad tires can be dangerous to your entire family ! Take advantage of Plaza Auto Malls credit card and purchase new tires to prevent accidents. Your family life should be your first priority! Winter Driving Tips from Plaza Auto Mall If you mount winter tires, change all four tires, not just two. Only changing two tires will cause the car to spin unexpectedly because of greater traction on only two wheels. When driving in extreme snow, you need to use chains or studs on your tires. Studs are best suited for soft ice rather than solid ice. However, before using chains or studs check with New York's local authorities and Department of Motor Vehicles about the legality of using such products. When driving in harsh winter conditions, be prepared and bring the following: jumper cables, tire chains, flares, blankets, food, gloves, boots, a flashlight, a cell phone, a first aid kit, an ice scraper, and a towing cable. Slow down, especially before corners and before going down hills. When you first get on the roads, test your brakes and steering. Watch out for black ice, as well as extra ice on bridges, overpasses, and intersections. Do not use cruise control in the winter. Do not follow other cars too closely and give yourself extra room to stop safely. Check your local weather forecast before driving to prevent being stranded in undesirable conditions. If your vehicle begins to skid, release the accelerator and gradually steer in the opposite direction that you are skidding. Important, do not use your brakes while skidding, as this will cause you to skid more. If you overcorrect the skid, you will end up skidding in the other direction. If this happens, gradually steer back the other way. If your car gets stuck in the snow, first clear snow from around the tires. Then try to get more traction with the use of something like sand, salt, or traction mats. Most importantly spread the sand, salt or track mat along the path where you will drive, not just directly around the tires. Then slowly drive out without using too much gas. Otherwise, you will dig the car deeper making it impossible for you to free your car, without the assistance of a towing company. Try rocking your vehicle back and forth if you cannot just drive right out, immediately call for assistance.   ...read more
