Craig has been an invaluable part of my toddler son’s therapeutic team since he was diagnosed with ASD. Craig is very knowledgeable in his discipline, staying current with the research and evidence versus fads. He is skilled at engaging children so that they are challenged but not overwhelmed. Craig approaches speech therapy with the family in mind. Craig consistently engaged me in my son’s sessions, explaining how to specifically target underlying issues associated with Autism that impede communication. He also showed me creative strategies to engage my son to encourage communication so I could carry over his recommendations at home. Craig taught me that therapy does not exist separate from my son's everyday life – progress can only made when therapy is put into context. I learned how to embed opportunities for communication in ways that didn’t feel forced or unnatural, which allowed me to always be a mom to my son first. At some point in our lives, we may have seen a martial arts movie or two that has sparked our interest in becoming a martial artist. Some of us may even studied the moves used in the movies and try our best to do them on our own. However, if you are serious and willing to try martial arts, then it is best that you enroll in a martial arts class. In Atlanta, many gyms or clubs offer the opportunity to study the actual techniques used inmartial arts Atlanta. Before you enroll in anAtlanta martial arts center, it is best that you have a good understanding about the different types of martial arts. To begin with, you have your Aikido which allows you to use your opponent’s energy by throwing them away and take control of the fight. Bando or Bando Thaing is another form of martial arts that allows you to adapt different techniques from Karate or Judo. This style teaches you how to use weapons and attack outside your opponent’s reach. If you like something that you can use as self-defense, Capoeira is a good technique to learn. This form of martial arts is originally from Brazil that combines aerobic and dancing moves to use as self-defense. If you like Bruce Lee, try the Jeet Kune Do, which he personally used to train himself while he was still alive. Jujitsu and Krav Maga are also two important styles of martial arts that people are into these days. If you wish to learn how to the art of flexibility, try Jujitsu but if you want to know how to defend yourself from all types of attacks from your opponents then Krav Maga can help you with that.
