My husband and I stayed at The Gregory because it was less than 10 minutes from our daughter. We arrived late at 10pm. The valet service was right there to take our car and carry our bags. The front desk personnel was very friendly and accomodating! They even called our room 20 minutes later to inquire if we needed anything and to invite us down to their lounge for a night cap. We were already aware of our car being parked away from the hotel and the price for parking, but that's the way it is any where in NYC. The Gregory staff was hospitable, helpful, responding pleasantly to every question about car service, train schedule, the best pizza, hunt for a forgotten tooth bursh, and why was it so cold outside. Our room was warm, comfortable, and the TV & telephone worked. What more could you want? The neighborhood was friendly with plenty of shopping, a variety of restaurants, churches, and inexpensive compared to Manhattan and we would certainly return if given the chance. thanks ...read more
