Buying some real estate in a crowded area like the Bronx is a challenge. You really need the help of a specialist to help you avoid making bad deals like I’ve seen so many people do before. Right in our neighborhood there is a RE/MAX office called RE/MAX Results (http://www.BronxResults.com). I was fortunate to rely on their expert information about the housing market and avoid those crazy mistakes people make. I was looking for a 3 bedroom house to buy and their agent had plenty to choose from. When I walked inside the office they showed me some houses under $350K since these were the ones I was interested in. The next day we visited 3 houses with them and I placed an offer on one. 3 months later my wife and I closed on the house and moved in. We are grateful for the help and support they gave us. Durante rentals picked up my snowblower Dec.30th,2010 to fix a flat tire and tune up machine.Jan10th2011, called to see status of snow blower(expecting 12-18 inches of snow in a few days)it is not repaired yet. Spoke to a gentleman named Anthony who promised me he would call 8am the next morning to verify status. No call. I inturn call the shop to find out what has happened left messages with Mike from the Mount Vernon shop to call Anthony to find out the status of the machine. No return call from either of the guys.I went to he shop to see for myself since the phone does not apparently work in their office.Ofcourse as I imagined the snow blower is not ready. Called and spoke to one of the owners and he to gave me the run around..still waiting on parts"I guess if I did not go there I would still be waiting on a phone call to tell me we are waiting on parts.Key advice here.."INTEGRITY supply more business and referrals". ...read more

Please be advised that the above named company is not the company located at 99 Featherbed Lane. The company located at that address has a similar name of Bronx Heights Neighborhood Community Corporation, and I am a tenant in one of their buildings and I have gone to the office on several visits.
