Parents beware! The Art Farm, on its beautiful campus in Bridgehampton, and its lovely teachers, has an unfriendly management. Your child is sure to enjoy playgroup with the wonderful play space and toys and gentle routine it offers. However, if you find that your child is not ready to separate or that your child's schedule doesn't fit with class schedule, you can kiss your money goodbye. Nor is management forthcoming about helping you with options, such a paying for a week and seeing if it works out for you. One would hope that in signing up your two year old for a class that the program director would be more flexible and understand that as much as a parent would like, she cannot force her two year old to play at an hour she wants to sleep in, or separate if she's not ready.
