Repeated incompetence at this store. Despite the advice of a couple of other business owners and locals not to use this store- I gave them the benefit of the doubt in order to support local business. I've given them 4 (yes FOUR) trys. Some type of problem each time. They're not only incompetent, but their prices are excessive as compared to other UPS packaging stores. The people at the terminal who answer phones (WHEN they actually answer them) are rude and unhelpful to say the least. I called to find out the time my son's bus was arriving from NYC and the woman who answered was curt, told me I had to call a 800 number, said it so fast I was unable to write it down and then refused to give it again unless I could be put on HOLD as she was soooooo busy! Too busy to repeat a 10 digit number???? Boos to the Albany Terminal. However, I then called the Schenectady Terminal and found the person who answered to be congenial and more than a little helpful. She went to extremes to help with the information, all the time being courteous and kind. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about the Schenectady Terminal Employees ~ nor enough uncomplimentary things about some of employees at the Albany Terminal!
