Avoid this place. Had an online special I called up about, they deflected my call and said I must order online. Their site charged my card, they never shipped the product even though they sent an email saying my order was received. A few days later I'm wondering where my package is - never sent?! Customer service was even worse. They blamed me for never checking my email to find their shipping query. Manager called me back, he treated me poorly as well. When they refunded my card during the phone call, I received a quick refund email which further proves my inbox was working and that they never tried to resolve any shipping issue in the first place. I lost 3 days of business downtime needing this product for my vehicle support. They could care less about that as well. An hour later I found the inverter I needed on radioshack.com for $20 less. Better Business Bureau rating on this company is "F" for good reason. We have suffered a failure by Protek to provide ordered part, failure by Protek to provide us with a refund for payment of the part, failure by Protek to provide satisfactory customer service, failure by Protek to adhere to sales invoice agreement, the list goes on. All we wanted was to get our dishwasher properly repaired in a timely, professional manner. Unfortunately, we learned the lesson the hard way. i have had some bad exp and was mislead/lied to by AIMS/ the inveter store. Reno Nevada.. I was really taken advantage of by them and ripped off on my return.. I orderd items on the [phone and the inverters blew and I had to re order some more inverters and was suppose to get full credit back upon them recieving the blown units back and they only refunded me part of my monies back,,, I was ripped off big time and the I cant do nothing about it except sue them in the state of Nevada and I live in North Carolina.. I don't like doing business with companies that answer their calls with an answering machine. Their are two water co in the same building. One is Washoe water co, which has a phone number that is assjgned to someone else, and washoe water service tha does business by answering machine.
