I called Quest Diagnostics on 11/13/12 to make an appt. for lab work my Dr. had advised. I used the automated svs. for this but, was uncertain if this was a fasting test or not. So, I called and after some wait spoke to a real person who looked up my records and confirmed this was a fasting test. I went for my appt. at the Elm St. office (1hr. away after fasting all night) and they had no record. i said only the day before my appt. had been confirmed. The lady at the desk said she couldn't perform the tests without the lab request. I went home and called Quest and again they confirmed my tests and my Drs. request. I wasted my whole day and fasted the night and morning of the test for NOTHING! Avoid Quest and in particular this office if at all possible. ...read more
