Sak 'N Save Food Store

After shopping at this store I brought my groceries home and opened a yogurt only to discover that it was VERY SOUR so I checked all the dates on the food purchased at this particular Sak n Sav and to my surprise found more than half of my purchases were expired by at least 1 week or more. I called the store manager immediately and was told to throw out the spoiled food and bring in the receipt & my $ would be refunded, when I got to the store I was told that I could not get a refund with or without the receipt so I came back & got the expired food & returned that to the store only to be told that no food can be returned expired or not!! I am disabled and live on a very limited income without the benefit of food stamps and this store manager and employee that I dealt with are and were extremely rude, condescending and down right horrible people! No one should be treated the way they treated me and they refused to give me a number for the district manager so that tells me a lot. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN & ADVISE ANYONE READING THIS NOT TO SHOP THERE. THAT STORE IS MONEY ORIENTED ONLY NOT AT ALL FOR CUSTOMERS/CONSUMERS. not to mention again that their products are mostly out of date - if your brave enough to shop there CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES ON ALL FOOD!!!!!! ...read more

Castle foods has been serving our town for at least seven years and have done their business from the same location, witch by the way is" FOOD" that NEEDS to be cold- so would you eat food that wasn;t refridgerated and might be spoiled? AHHH, That's why thay run all day and night so good people like you can count on top quality food when you eat out. Car's and trucks come and go- so what. Give the working class a break. Oh and how long have you lived their? I guess the train must drive you mad and thay have been making noise longer than that food place has been their. Castle foods.
