The Art of Videography

Shooting a video requires a keen eye for details, precision and experience but equally important is having the creative expertise necessary to produce the desired results for customers.     We are experts at all three phases of Video Production (Pre-Production, Production & Post-Production). While there are numerous good video production companies available to shoot and edit videos for customers, the question to ponder when choosing a video production company is, "Does the company have the creative skills as well as the expertise to tell a compelling story for me and/or my business?" This can be tough to gauge by just looking at a demo reel. At the very least, call the cinematographer/videographer and make sure they have an understanding of your needs. Besides a demo, Ask to see some of their full production videos as a demo reel is simply a number of clips strung together over a music track. A demo reel won't show you what a fully produced video will.   View samples for real estate profiles, business profiles, non profit, fund raising, documentaries, convention and trade show videos. How To Achieve Success In Your Business And Have Fun Doing It

If you want to know what it will take for you to be successful in your business, ask each of your employees this question. "How is your business doing." Yes, you heard me right. All companies including technological, utilities, research, entertainment, video production, restaurants, private, public or otherwise, have to contend with budgets, administration, mail services, contracts, purchasing, payroll, marketing and sales, customer services, etc. You get the gist of it. Each of your employees have a stake in your business in the form of a job with your company.  So go ahead and ask them."How is your business doing?" If they look at you weirdly and respond, "I don't have a business," then you will need to educate them.  Tell them that their job is their business. Find out what they are doing to be successful in their business. They will also know or should know what's working and what's not working and what it will take to make their business become more successful.  This doesn't mean adding more people or buying new equipment, etc. At least, you shouldn't do anything radical without a full understanding of the need and justification for it.  Watch and listen closely as your employees respond to you. Don't be mystified if they are unable to articulate an answer because this discussion will surely get them thinking and the next time you ask, "How is your business doing?" Your employees will have a lot to say because they will have had the time to think more about your question and feel empowered to provide open and honest feedback to you.  Try it and see how it goes. The answer to your Business Success begins with you but your employees are equally important for the success of your company. If you don't have employees then identify on paper, white board or black board the business lines for your company and ask yourself, "What will it take for me to be successful?" Hold the microscope up to your business and develop a winning strategy for your company. Go ahead... Try it. ...read more
