Just a quick retort: the first review is unbelievable, and the second, well, they were doing their job. I do believe you both should look in the mirror and repeat your "Review Titles" to yourselves. I digress, Every time I go to this location I have always had prompt service and friendly cashiers who are very knowledgeable about specific games and always help me when in need. ...read more

LIQUID CHRONIC VODKA

There are several critical steps that go into making fine vodka.  Liquid Chronic has a hand in every single aspect of that process, creating a unique product that we love to share with our friends. The first step in making really good vodka is to find the best possible H2O. Liquid Chronic uses H2O directly from Oregon. The cleanest water, filtered from the melted snow pack from Mt. Hood’s annual accumulation of 400-700 inches of snow each season. It is considered by many to be among the most pure in the nation. We love it and so will you. As they say, our H2O comes from the forest to the faucet. Unlike some forests, the Mt. Hood wilderness remains unspoiled. Who needs the French Alps when you can have the Cascades? The basic process of making vodka is a two-step dance, with the first step being fermentation. This begins by taking starchy, organic grains and encouraging them to sprout–rather like making alfalfa sprouts on the counter top. This natural enzymatic process turns starches into sugars that can be utilized by yeast. Those yeast, selected for a clean taste, consume sugars in a slurry known as the mash, releasing heat, carbon dioxide and alcohol. They keep going until there is no more sugar or they reach about 12%, creating a sort of grain wine that can then be further processed. The magical distillation process allows us to take the low-proof grain wine and turn it into a high-proof spirit. When heated, the alcohol turns to vapor before the H2O. This vapor is sent up a column and when it hits the cold sides, just like your cold windows in the wintertime, it condenses, collecting nearly pure alcohol. From this, we select only the best portion–the heart of the batch–to be further processed. This cannot be automated, and requires someone to take a little taste. If we don’t taste the best, we throw it out. That’s why Liquid Chronic Ultra Premium Vodka is so pure and highly enjoyable. Now that we’ve produced a high-proofed alcohol, we need to mellow it out, remove any impurities and strip away any off flavors. Always bondable carbon does a great job and we run it through our custom-made filtration system as many as 5 times before we’re satisfied. Every batch is tested and blended to suit our tastes, and not sent through so many times that it loses its characteristic flavor. It’s a balancing act to make sure you can still taste what makes Liquid Chronic Vodka truly special. We add a tiny bit of our patented formula and wave a magic wand over it before putting the fun into our gravity-fed, hand bottling machine. They’re labeled, sealed and sent off to your local liquor store for you to enjoy. ...read more
