Fanco on Fort Apache has terrible sales people. Just think of all products at Fanco as FINAL SALES. They will take your money, they will not help you when something goes wrong. Make sure you buy with a credit card that will fight for you. They gave me fan and light kit that don't match. I didn't know until right after installation of the light kit that it doesn't match the fan's finishes. Their policy is NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE AFTER INSTALLATION. So now I have a mismatched fan that i can't return because of the incompetence of the sales people. She was not the least bit apologetic and even retorted that she cannot know all the finishes fans come in. In fact, when I asked to speak to the manager, she said she is the manager. It's sales people like that that will break this company, no matter how nice their products are. And let me tell you, their products are pricey. I'm sure it is nice but I will never buy another product from Fanco with services like that. NEVER AGAIN! ...read more

Buy at your own risk. The Fanco on Fort Apache has a manager who is only interested in selling you something, not in fixing any problems that may arise. I bought an expensive fan from Fanco, this manager gave me a fan and light kit with different finishes and styles. Unfortunately, I relied on her to get the right product and I did not check while my electrican was installing the fan. After I saw the product with mismatched tones (gold and silver), I asked my electrician to remove the fan so I could return/exhange. I paid for his time for nothing. This same manager/sales person said that since I already installed the fan, company policy dictatates NO RETURN OR EXCHANGES. I told her it was she who got me mismatched products and she said she cannot know what's in the fan box. WHAT KIND OF SALES PERSON DOESN'T KNOW THE PRODUCT THEY'RE SELLING? Since she's the manager, I now own a pricey mismatched fan that is too ugly to put up. ...read more

I would have put 0 stars if that were an option. Fanco fans are ok but their installation service is pathetic. The install cost was more than the fan. After waiting a week for an appt., the installer was over a hour and a half late and did not call to say he would be late. He had to come back a 2nd time to fix a noise - with paper scaps?? (which is still not fixed when the fan is on Medium) He did not clean up after himself or offer help move furniture. He refused to hook up the upper light on the fan to the remote. I would NOT recommend or ever use FANCO again. If I had to do it over, I would have just bought a fan @ Home Depot or Lowes and hired a real electrician to install the fan. ...read more
