Real Estate With Causes

5.0

By Ann Johnson

I wanted to donate a house to charity and I stumbled across Real Estate With Causes. They were very informative and helped me with everything that needed to be done throughout the entire process. It took a little over three weeks from start to finish, which I thought was extremely quick, and I got my tax documents the same week that the property was transferred out of my name! I recommend them to anyone who is looking to donate to charity! ...read more

Hot Point Realty LLC

1.0

By Anonymous

Not sure how these people stay in business. Hotpoint realty is quite literally the worst realty agency I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. We were charged ridiculous amounts of deposits; yet the place we rented was never taken care of. Water damage started to come through the ceiling of the down stairs of the property my fiance and I were renting and Hotpoint acted as though we were bothering them when we asked them to fix it. They then hired a sub par handyman instead of a proper contractor to fix the problem. The problem came back again. And again. And again. Every time a repair was made, the house was left in worse condition than when they had started. Patches ALL OVER the ceiling of the downstairs of the property. Now that we have moved out of the property they are trying to hold our deposits. I keep being told that it's the owners decision as to when and if we will get the deposits back. The house was left in better condition than when we had initially moved in! I even hired professional cleaners to ensure so, because I anticipated problems with getting our deposits back as the only thing this property and management company have been is a constant headache. Stay far, far away in order to preserve your sanity. ...read more

Your Perfect Shared Office Space

Whether you are a startup or an established company, selecting a new office space or commercial property in Norwich can be a daunting task. Do you want to operate from your own building, or work in a shared office? Do you need an office at all? Weigh up the pros and cons. Are you a big enough industry to justify your own office? An empty and underused building will look unprofessional when clients visit, and a shared office may be the solution. The Shared Office While there are many benefits to having your own building, a shared office can be an excellent option, especially for start-up companies. The reasons why may seem obvious - of course the costs will be lower, the building is designed with companies in mind, and you have the added security of a single reception desk. But there are nuances of each which you may not have considered. When it comes to choosing the perfect commercial property, Norwich has a lot to offer. By working in a shared office you will have the ability to interact with the other industries operating in Norwich commercial property, and by doing so you are networking whilst you work. Productivity at its peak! The likelihood is that you will be the only company in your niche working in the shared offices, so when another company requires a service you provide they're likely to turn to you. After all, they're right on your doorstep so you can make sure the work is being done, and chase up regularly. It works both ways as well, because any payments owing are likely to be paid straight away so things don't get awkward. Offer your services to businesses sharing your space because they will also be able to recommend you. Perhaps you will even be fortunate enough to work alongside a company which perfectly supports your concept, or which needs your skills. Problems of the Shared Office There are of course some negatives to working out of an office building. For example, parking may be problematic with a range of businesses in a high rise space. The shared office tends to be most suitable for small businesses as they begin to grow. It's important then, to think about whether there will continue to be enough parking available as your company grows. Remember that other companies in the same commercial property in Norwich are likely to be doing the same, so the parking could quickly become saturated if there isn't a large amount of available space. If the floor is open plan then productivity can be affected by surroundings, and you have no control over who the other businesses that operate around you are. Find out whether the Norwich commercial property company you are subletting from are willing to rent to anyone or whether they will bear in mind the industry that existing tenants are in. Obviously you don't want to be working in the same building as your competitors because you will be unable to speak freely for fear of giving away trade secrets. ...read more

Sell Your House The Right Way!

Selling a home is not easy. Given the volatility of modern economies across the globe, many domestic property owners are looking to maximize the returns from their property investments. Many such domestic property owners are often looking for customers who will offer them the best price for their property in the market. However, the fact that many domestic property owners are completely unaware of the role they can play in maximizing the value of their property does come as somewhat of a surprise. There are some pointers which domestic property owners should keep in mind whenever they consider putting their property on the market. A little investment goes a long way in assuring that when your property is on the market, it displays its value to the fullest.  For example, the first pointer which many domestic property owners overlook is the appearance of the house itself. If the house looks decrepit, then even the world's best realtors will have a problem in selling the property. The more attractive your house looks, the more it is easy to sell. For some domestic property owners who are short on time, hiring a real estate agent who brings you the services of a decorator is the best way out. These decorators can use the items present within a house itself to make it look as attractive to potential buyers as possible. The next pointer to be kept in mind is maintaining the visibility of the house to be sold on the market. If buyers do not know about the house being sold, then they can hardly be expected to come knocking. Realtors can help to make sure that whoever would be interested in purchasing your home knows about it via effective marketing strategies which include print and digital services. These realtors are also aware of potential buyers whom you can target in order to push the sales. One great way to increase the house's value is to host open houses wherein buyers can come in and see the property for themselves. One tip to maximize the efficiency of these open houses is to make sure that every feature of the home is well lit. This can be used to draw the buyer's attention away from features which could reduce the home's value. Another great tip is to set the thermostat to an inviting temperature. Buyers tend to make quicker positive purchase decisions when they are comfortable. So, all domestic property owners who keep the above pointers in mind can make sure that they are going to get the best value for their house. ...read more
