I have been getting oil change/lube at Ralphs for several years. I have a 4WD work truck with modified drive and suspension components: nearly all my u-joints, ball-joints, steering bushings and drivelines have grease zerks. I have shown the staff at Ralphs on multiple occasions where they all are. Every time I go in for an oil change and lube, I remind them about all the grease zerks, yet nearly every time, they miss at least a couple. I usually check before I leave the shop, and typically they have to pull the truck back in and get the job done right. During my most recent visit I asked if they got all 12 grease zerks, specifically the front axle knuckle joints. Ralph told me yes, they were all done. When I got home and checked underneath, the joints I specifically asked about had not been done. I was lied to about service that was specifically requested. This type of problem is chronic at Ralphs, and I have decided will never go back again, nor would I recommend this shop to anyone. ...read more

I went to this shop a few days ago and will never go back. I found them on line where they offer a $10 off coupon for oil change service. Next I call to get their "normal" price without the coupon which is $24.60 (including waste disposal fee)So I make an appointment for the following day. I ask how long it will take and they tell me about 20 minutes since I am not having my tires rotated.Thinking that my bill will be $14.60 plus tax I was shocked to discover a bill for $34.59. When I disputed the bill they gave me the ridiculous excuse that the price they quoted me was after the $10 off. When I explained that I never told them I had a coupon, they said "we give everyone that price!" Avoid this place like the plague.
