Many scratches occur during the construction of your home. Contractors hit the glass with tools, movers hit them with furniture, or maybe your contractor's cleaning company simply did not use the proper scraper or the proper technique when getting all of the paint and debris off of your windows. Scratches may occur when you clean your windows with improper towels or when you wear rings when cleaning the glass. Clean Windows During Rainy Season? Absolutely!

So, you're tired of looking at those dirty windows (since you can't see through them), but you are afraid that the pollen or rainy season is coming&will just dirty them again. Waiting just a few more months won't make a difference...or will it? Not only will you not have a bright&beautiful view to enjoy while you wait, but the longer your windows stay dirty, the more likely they are to become etched, scratched, or permanently stained by dirt, mold, sprinkler water, pool water, etc, thus, costing you more for your cleaning & possibly causing irreparable damage!

Rain water is very, very different from pool, sprinkler, or even water from your hose.....It’s pure or deionized. Rain water is naturally soft, containing almost no dissolved minerals, salts, or chemicals.

The truth is, windows need cleaning because they get dirty, NOT because they get wet. Windows are engineered to use rainwater and natural sunlight to remove organic dirt and debris. The three major contributors of the dirt and debris on your windows are, pollen, dust and bird droppings. Whenever these are present on your glass and a rain comes along, the residue in the rain will attach itself to the dirt and often times will make your windows look even worse. On the other hand, if your windows are clean to begin with, the rain will simply sheet off the glass and your windows will continue to remain clean. How often should you get your windows cleaned?

One of the more common questions that we get asked is "How frequently should I get my windows cleaned?". For many people, budget and location are going to be the biggest factors in determining your frequency. Below are our recommendations.

Monthly or Bi-Monthly - This frequency is only suggested for customers with houses that are right on Tampa Bay or the Gulf. Our product does an excellent job at repelling rain, pollen, and dust, but unfortunately there is nothing currently on the market that repels salt from the ocean. If salt sits on windows for too long it will start to stain the windows so it is important to wash the exterior panes pretty regularly. No Streaking offers these customers partial cleaning options and also standing appointments. Some customers will only have their windows most exposed to the water washed monthly, and the rest Bi-Monthly or Quarterly. The Interior Panes are also somewhat exposed to the salt, but should only need cleaning Bi-Monthly or Quarterly. Some might even be ok with Semi-Annual cleaning. These customers receive discounted pricing based on frequency.

Quarterly - This frequency is generally recommended for customers that live close, but not directly on the water (Gulf or Tampa Bay), construction sites, or homes in VERY high traffic areas. These homes only need the Interior Panes cleaned Semi-Annually. Our customers receive 10% off up to $25 on EACH of their Quarterly cleanings for up to $100 savings per year.

Semi-Annual - Most Common - We recommend this cleaning to all of our residential customers who do not live near the beach/water, construction, or VERY high traffic areas. Generally, our product will repel rain, pollen, and dust for 4-6 months in homes in subdivisions or away from these more exposed areas. We recommend the Interior and Exterior be cleaned twice a year; however, to save on their budget some people will clean the Exterior twice a year and the Interior once a year. A Semi-Annual cleaning will help minimize scratching and etching. Windows generally will not develop hard water stains with a Semi-Annual cleaning. No Streaking has a guarantee against hard water staining for our Semi-Annual customers. Please see our guarantees for more information. Our customers receive 10% off up to $25 on EACH of their Semi-Annual cleanings for up to $50 savings per year.

Annual - This is recommended for people who are looking for basic maintenance and are more concerned with preventing staining than actually keeping the windows sparkling. An annual cleaning minimizes the deposits on the window and will reduce the chances of developing hard water stains. No Streaking cannot guarantee against staining with Annual service. Customers who schedule service a minimum of Annually will have their price locked in for life.

18 Months - This service is not recommended, but is available. After one year, mineral deposits and other elements become embedded in the glass and begin to stain, scratch, and etch the glass. Most stains at this stage are at Stage I. No Streaking is able to treat these stains for an additional charge. The average charge is $15.00 per window for Stage I Hard Water Stain Removal.

2 Years - This service is not recommended, but is available. After 2 years, most stains become permanently embedded in the glass. These are known as Stage II stains. There are no products currently on the market that will treat these stains, and usually you just need to replace the glass and/or window. As of March of 2012, No Streaking will be offering a service to repair Stage II staining, etching, and scratches. This service will be offered at about 50% of the cost of replacing the glass/window.

No Streaking is very flexible with our scheduling. We do not lock our customers into a service contract. Our customers stay with us because they want to, not because they have to. Amazing Work!

I just have to say that I can't believe the difference cleaning my windows made. My home is so much brighter! No Streaking really did an amazing job. They cleaned the screens and the tracks too. They obviously take a lot of pride in their work because they even went aro...und and double-checked their work, which I couldn't believe. Then they said the work was guaranteed on top of that! I was extremely impressed with this service & highly recommend them.
