Recently I attended a conference with my friends at Taos. We went to this shop and fell in love with an elegant vase (pottery) for $275. After the payment it was very nicely packed and put in a bag for us, and we thanked the shop-keeper for his great service. After we returned to the lodge, we discovered that the vase had a crack at the back which was fixed with glue and painted nicely to camouflage the joint. Next day, we rushed to the shop and the man completely denied that he sold us the defective vase. He was arrogant, rude and blamed it on us, saying that we must have broken it.
