Parcel Post Plus

5.0

By MikkiMouse

I've been going to Parcel Post Plus for many years. I recently discovered they are under new management. Not only are they as friendly as ever, but they packed and shipped my Christmas packages well, and they arrived at their destinations in record time considering the ups and fedex problems with this year's shipping. The prices were comparable to the previous ownership as well. I am a loyal customer who highly recommends this merchant! ...read more

Parcel Post Plus

1.0

By EmilyWarren

I've used Parcel Post Plus for years and always had a great experience. They were friendly, and knew me and my kids by name when I went in. I went in today to discovery that it is under new ownership. I was charged $9.25 for a USPS priority Flat Rate envelope (something that is only $5.60 at the post office, and $6.80 by he previous owners). I wasn't given a receipt or a tracking number for my package. When I asked for it, I was given a photo-copy of he front of my package and told that one of the two numbers on the front of the package should work for tracking. When I got home and put the numbers in the USPS website for tracking, I was told that bothy numbers were "invalid". I called and spoke to the new owner of Parcel Post Plus. He put me ON HOLD FOR OVER TWENTY MINUTES, came back and told me my package had already gone out and didn't know how to get my tracking number, and then preceded to HANG UP ON ME THREE TIMES! Do NOT give them your business! I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and also reporting them to he United States Postal Service. ...read more

Serving the Hard to Serve

Hard to Serve! No Problem!Recently we were hired to serve a subpoena on a person who had been avoiding Service for a long time. The client indicated another process server told them "This is a dead end Serve". I replied "Hard to serve people are my specialty." I am purposely leaving some of the details as they may be considered trade secrets and other confidential information. When I accepted the challenge I asked for any information they could give me. They responded with a Photo, two separate address locations, vehicle description and a phone number. Well the phone number turned out to be disconnected. So we tried address one which was local. Our first attempt proved to be a good address that was definitely occupied. The dogs inside were very aggressive and let me know they were there to protect their owner. No vehicle around, no one answered and neighbors were unwilling to disclose any information. Second attempt was the second address. This was 45 miles out of town. This time we found a vacant property. No indication of forwarding address and the closest neighbor was ½ mile away. That's almost a dead end other process servers but not to me. After some research I found that our subject actually did own this property which led me to find out that address one was also still a good one for them. Third attempt, back at address one. This time I persisted to ring the doorbell and knock on the door for several minutes, dogs barking like crazy when another person answered the door. Obviously annoyed at my persistence they refused to tell me if our subject lived there or if they even knew the subject. While the door was open I noticed a marker board on the wall with a note "New Cell No." I memorized the number for future use before the person slammed the door in my face. As I drove away I decided to pull over and call this number. When the person answered I put on my "Sales Voice" and convinced the person I was trying make a Special Delivery to an address and asked if I was at the right place. The subject then admitted their name and confirmed the address. "Gotcha" I thought to myself. The subject then scheduled a time I could give them my SPECIAL DELIVERY. Attempt four, address one same day but late in the evening. Low and behold in the driveway was my subject's vehicle. As I rang the doorbell the dogs started up again. I briefly looked at the photo again. Then the door opened. My subject was standing there with a puzzled look on their face. I addressed them by name and Served the Subpoena. SUCCESS! Then the subject said something I have never heard a subject say…"Magnificent Job you did!" Talk about a compliment. In the end my client was extremely impressed and has used us many times since. Hard To Serve! No problem! I always Love a Challenge… ChrisServe ...read more
