After a pretty stressful decade and a half of my life, I was able to overcome many obstacles and issues on my own but came to a place where I could go no further. I received two recommendations from a friend, but she gave special emphasis to Cheryl Blossom. When I began counseling, I had one issue I wanted to work on, but found there were many other issue that kept me in a stagnate state of indecision and a lack of a full self-identity. Through talking about things that seemed to me to be unrelated at the time, Ms. Blossom was able to help me get to the bottom of issues that kept me bound up for years. Surprising, but very welcome, was the fact that I was able to move forward with my life in a just a few months, when I had been in the same spot for years. Cheryl Blossom became our son�s counselor 1-1/2 years ago. She has gone to a deeper level than other therapists in the past, and he has made great progress. Cheryl listened carefully to the whole family to understand who he is and has helped him feel better about himself, reinforcing his many wonderful qualities, so that she can progress to the hard work of dealing with his sensitive and complicated issues. She understands that you have to build from the bottom up to get to truly stable and lasting emotional health. I have been impressed with her knowledge of diverse therapeutic approaches that have brought new ideas to the team. She also understands the importance of the mind/body connection in health and happiness. Our son is calmer and communicates more than he ever has in the past.
